Read Any Good Budgeting Books Lately?

December 9th, 2007 at 06:11 am

I could swear I have read in a couple of blogs here that there is one particularly good book (and I know it's not a Dave Ramsey book) ... and I was going to look to see if my library had it. The other night I got online to look, and I couldn't remember my PIN for my library account. Today I remembered the PIN, and I can't remember the title of the book! Anyone have any ideas?

All Your Worth is the one I am reading. I think overall it is pretty good.

Try the Richest Man in Babylon. It is in a story format and easy reading.

I'd recommend looking at several books and skimming them, to see which one you relate to most. I'm a firm believer that the "best" system is the one that works for you.

In addition to the books mentioned, you could check out Suze Orman or David Bach's or Jane Bryant Quinn's books. Also "Your Money or Your Life" or "The Net Worth Workout." All of those have very different styles, but good things to say.
