Suze Orman Marathon on CNBC Tonight!!

If you missed Dawn last week, tune in! I bet it will run once or twice tonight!!

Update: First show, right off the bat! A couple of things I missed the first time I saw it: (1) they have TWO flat-screen TVs OUTSIDE in the patio/pool area, and (2) their MINIMUM credit card payments every month total $6,000!!! Unbelievable. I really hope Suze airs an update with Dawn sometime in the future; and hopefully she will be on the right track.

    Dawn was some piece of work. Incredibly arrogant and she just does not get it -- I mean she thinks she is rich.

    I don't think Dawn gets it. I have no idea what she was talking about her home being worth more than paying off creditors. She's in la-la land.

    I taped one episode that sounded like the right one, and it was! My family and I watched the whole thing with our jaws on the floor, looking at one another to make sure we were hearing it right.

    The three expenses Suze listed--$6K house payments, $2K credit card payments and $1K car payment (for one of their cars only)--would wipe out the husband's $9K of take-home right away. Not counting any basic expenses. She is going down whether she acknowledges it or not. If she doesn't sell everything, she's losing everything.

    NT and AS said maybe she would leave her husband with the mess, and try and find a richer guy, because apparently this guy wasn't as rich as she thought.

    She kept saying she was real, but she seemed like a hollow husk of a person to me. I do hope that I'm wrong and she comes to her senses in time to salvage something, and that she has more humanity in her than I sensed.

    Is it just me, Dawn looked very familiar to me. She looks like the woman who was on the show "Ten Years Younger" as Dawn "The Make Under". Only then, she was dressed like a clown and now she has been made over! Boy! Did that rush of glamour go to her head and she is trying to live large!

    PDM67, I think you nailed it with the Make Under lady! I googled that, and it popped up the name of Dawn Orlow. When I googled THAT, I got BOTH these hits:

    Yes, the segment she was on left me sickened and shocked at her "I really don't give a hang" attitude. Oh well, I guess it's time to clean her from my brain cells. Strangest Suze guest ever. :-(

    She should be more focused on her health and healthy life habits, than on diamonds and home improvements! She is 38 y.o. but she looks 10 years older at best! Or if she was seriously ill. I would not be suprsised if she has some serious health issues.

    ceejay74, yes, look above at my post in this thread. She's a Suze follower, but she is struggling with this problem. It's sad, because I think she is truly frightened about what seems to be addictive behavior. I ask myself, what things do I seem to just rationalize the heck out of... eating out is probably my vice.
